Nashville Scrapper Trap Team hosting Tournament this Saturday
Friday, KMTB and KNAS got a chance to speak with Seniors of the Nashville Scrapper Trap Team Lucas Vilar and Allie Westbrook about the 2024 Scrapper Trap Tournament that will be held this Saturday March 23rd at Ricks Evan Grandview.
Vilar mentioned how he became a part of the Nashville Trap Team and what got him involved in the program.
Westbrook said that her parents really encouraged her to join trap her 10th grade year and how the coaches were very encouraging along with mentioning how many members are on the team.
Vilar took a moment to recognize the Coaches and the Sponsors that play a major role in keeping the trap team going.
Westbrook stated that there are teams around the state that will be participating in the upcoming tournament and all the spots are filled.
Vilar mentioned that the proceeds would go towards items such as glasses, guns, earplugs, along with additional items needed for the trap team.
Vilar even described the overall experience while attending a trap event.
In conclusion, Westbrook said that they are also having a tournament raffle on the 23rd and they will be drawing for a Henry Golden Boy 22.
