Outlaws host Mountainburg tonight

The Dierks Outlaws finished their conference season undefeated and will now prepare for the Mountainburg Dragons in the first round of the 2A playoffs.

Head coach Jarrod Fannin said the Dragons are an unfamiliar foe for the Outlaws. He said they last time they played each other was in 2002.

Fannin said the Outlaws will try and use their ground game to control the clock and the score board. He said everything starts up front with the offensive line.

Fannin said the Outlaw defense is a hungry group and will everything they can to shut down the Dragon offense.

The Outlaws will open the first round of the 2A playoffs at home this Friday night against the Mountainburg Dragons. Kickoff is set for 7 pm. Listen to the game live on 105.5 the Maverick with Jeff Tuttle and Jaron Tipton.
