Rotary Club – Mike Reese

Rotary Club met Wednesday afternoon with Mike Reese presenting. Reese, who is the Executive Director of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce spoke about the upcoming Christmas Parade set to take place on December 3rd.

Reese said he is really looking forward to the festivities this year and hopes that the spirit of the season helps to lighten what has been a long year and a half of the pandemic.

In about 2 weeks, Reese said, residents of Nashville who pass through main street should start noticing the Christmas season creeping in. And not to hurt the turkey’s feelings but trees will begin to be placed a few days before Thanksgiving day. If you’re interested in decorating one of the 42 available trees you can call the Chamber Office or stop by with $35.

By December the season will be in full swing with Christmas tunes being played on main street, the parade on the 3rd will go North on Main street ending right before the curve. Prizes will be given for the best 3 floats with the top prize being $250.

Celebrate with Nashville and enjoy this Thanksgiving and Christmas season as they near and join in with the Chamber in “Bringing Back the Hometown Feeling” for this holiday season.
