South Pike Co School Superintendent Receives OBU Alumni Milestone Award

South Pike County School District Superintendent Brad Sullivan received a special award on Saturday at Ouachita Baptist University’s homecoming. Sullivan received the Ouachita Alumni Milestone Award for the class of 1989. Sullivan said that his time at Ouachita helped him build a spiritual foundation, as his daughter was diagnosed with terminal cancer at that time. After her death, he and his wife co-founded “While We’re Waiting”, an organization that offers faith-based retreats for bereaved parents.

Sullivan has worked in education for the past 25 years. OBU President Dr. Ben Sells presented the award.
