Volume up at HMH results in better bottom line

Tuesday night, HMH CFO Bill Craig informed the hospital’s board of directors that March was a much better month than February. He said the hospital had better patient volume in March and that lead to a better bottom line.

Craig explained to the board that the RN crisis staffing caused by the patient care unit and emergency department resulted in the salary cost exceeding the budgeted cost. He said that issue will continue until August.
