Free Food Gone Quickly In Nashville

It took only about one hour for local volunteers to hand out 300 bags of food and essential items during a food drive Friday morning in Nashville. The event was hosted at the city park with items provided to Howard Couny residents by the Central Arkansas Development Council.

With the event starting at ten o’clock Friday morning, lines began forming around 8:00 and by 8:30, the line of vehicles extended from the city park on Johnson Street to almost the Johnson Street/Highway 371 intersection.

The C.A.D.C. reported all 300 bags were handed out by just after 11:00 AM.
