Holiday closings and trash collection changes announced

Mineral Springs municipal offices will close November 26th and 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. Monday will be the only day for trash pickup at Mineral Springs next week.
In Hempstead County, the courthouse will close at noon Wednesday and remain closed through Friday, November 27th. Hempstead County road and sanitation departments will close Thanksgiving day through Monday, November 30th.
The regular November 25th and 26th trash routes will be run Wednesday, the 25th. The routes for Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st, will both be collected on the 1st.
