City of Mineral Springs waiting on Grant Funds

Aldermen of the Mineral Springs City Council held their regular monthly meeting yesterday.

Treasurer Denise Juniel stated that all paperwork has been signed and  they are waiting on the Grant Funds. Juniel also discussed the loan process, vendors, and the money portion of the grant.

Juniel also presented ideals to the council about fixing up Bridgeman Park in Mineral Springs.

Juniel stated that she attended a meeting with the state that provided information in regard to park grants. Juniel said she’s already made the first step of a site visit so they can get an outline of the work that needed to be done. Juniel also mentioned that matching grants are available and can be applied for every year.
