City of Nashville working to complete a couple of projects

As the new year is about to begin, work on a couple of projects in the city of Nashville should be finished fairly soon. Public Works Director Larry Dunaway says the water plant project, that includes pumps and lines to give Nashville Rural Water a direction connection, is about 50 percent complete and the project should resume in early January:

The other project expected to be wrapped up soon is the bridge replacement that connects East Howard to the Highway 27 Bypass. Dunaway says construction will likely begin next week and should be finished sometime in January:

The bridge has been out since being determined unsafe to motorists early last year.
