Fall Sports Set to Begin

Plans are proceeding to have high school sports & activities take place this fall in Arkansas. Starting today, football teams are allowed to begin practicing with helmets. Full contact practices are expected to begin next week.
Governor Asa Hutchinson has formed an advisory committee, consisting of education & health experts from across the state, to monitor the situation.
Lance Taylor, Executive Director of the Arkansas Activities Association, is challenging coaches to do their part in helping athletics & other activities to take place as scheduled:

Most neighboring states have previously given approval for the fall sports activities to take place as planned.
