Nashville City Council approves solar panel operation

A financing plan has been approved for construction of a solar panel operation in the city of Nashville. City Council members approved the project Monday. Mayor Billy Ray Jones said the investment is long term and will result in a savings of more than two million dollars for the city:

Construction on the solar panel display is expected to begin soon near the waste water treatment facility and should be complete sometime next year.
