Nashville School Board approves one-time bonus for certified and classified staff

Full time certified and classified staff within the Nashville School District are set to receive a one time bonus.  Following a recommendation from Superintendent Doug Graham, the Nashville School Board voted Monday evening to give all full time certified staff a $5,000 dollar bonus, while full time classified personnel will receive a bonus of 2,500 dollars.  Superintendent Graham says the money is coming from the district’s American Rescue Plan Esser monies:

Employees who aren’t considered full time, will receive pro rated amounts.  Superintendent Graham said the bonus will be given in two equal payments, with one coming in November and the remaining portion will be received by district personnel in March 2023.  The district’s bonus proposal must now be sent to the legislative committee for approval.
