Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Kooyons

Tuesday, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony held at Kooyons. Nashville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tim Pinkerton was in attendance, along with Owners Lance Prejean, his wife Deanna Prejean who’s an administrator at Nashville Nursing and Rehab, and their granddaughter Sienna Adams.
Prejean shared how he came up with the name Kooyon and what the word means.

Prejean also talked about what this moment meant to him to be able to open a Cajun business in Nashville along with providing their hours of operation.

Kooyons officially opened for business on August 21st and is located at 519 S Main Street here in Nashville. They serve Cajun cuisines such as crawfish, boudin, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and more.
