Rainfall last month in Nashville was nearly 2 and three quarters inches above normal. For October, the city recorded an official rainfall amount of 8 and 3 tenths inches. For the year to date, Nashville is now more than 20 and a half inches above normal in rainfall…and has already received more rain than we normally measure in an entire year. Temperatures last month were one degree below normal on both high and low temperatures. Extremes last month for Nashville included a high temperature of 96 degrees on October 3rd and a low of 35 degrees on October 12th.
