Corps Of Engineers Canceling Reservations

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is canceling campground reservations in Arkansas in response to the Coronavirus.

The cancellations will not affect those campers already at the campgrounds. USACE campgrounds that are currently open will honor active reservations through Sunday, March 22nd. Individuals with reservations on or before March 22nd will be able to camp for the entirety of their reservation. No new reservations will be accepted after March 22nd.

In addition to COVID-19 closures, the Millwood Tri-Lakes Project Office is immediately closing access to multiple recreation areas at Millwood, DeQueen, Dierks and Gillham Lakes because of flooding.

The affected areas at Millwood Lake include River Run East, River Run West, Wilton Landing, White Cliffs, Saratoga Campground and Beards Bluff-sites 6 through 11.

On Dierks Lake, sites 1-52 in the Jefferson Ridge Recreation Area are closed. Gillham Lake’s areas that are closed include: Little Coon Creek, Coon Creek North and Big Coon Creek sites 2-15 and 20-31. On De Queen Lake, the closures are at Rolling Fork Boat Ramp and Bellah Mine sites 3- 8 and 9-13.
